Independent Club Pros
Rick Passero
Rick Passero came to the Monadnock Indoor Tennis Club 3 years ago from Northern California where he was the tennis director and head teaching pro for the Sebastopol Tennis Club. He has been teaching tennis to youth and adult USTA players of all levels for 25 years. The last 3 here at MITC.
He was also a high school tennis coach for 22 years for both the boys and girls teams in California. Sending many of his players onto collegiate level play.
His core tennis playing theory is you have to play with intent and purpose. There are high percentage shots to take no matter what the circumstances are. The smart shot leads to consistency, consistency leads to confidence, confidence to solid play and winning tennis. And everyone likes that!
Creating a fun on court environment is important, and teaching players how to stay positive as they compete is his winning style!
